ABOUT

Hello! You can call me either Riley, Koi, or Jackal. I'm a 27 year old digital and traditional freelance artist based in Wisconsin. I love DND, nature, fantasy, video games, and my orange cat Tango (pictured below), and I hope to one day publish my own original stories (either in novel or comic format). In addition to drawing and painting, I enjoy several other creative hobbies such as origami and jewelry making, and I always find myself working on new projects and trying out every new creative outlet I can.

If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to reach out! :)

COMMISSION INFO

TERMS OF SERVICE: When you commission me, the final product is yours to use as you see fit! I ask that you credit me where possible, and if asked for the artist who created the piece, you refer them to me.COMMERCIAL USE: If you intend to use your commissioned piece for any commercial use (book covers, advertising, logos, etc) please let me know right away before work begins. I require an additional fee to be paid for commercial use of my work. Please reach out to me for more details.ETA: Depending on the piece, commissions will take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to complete. If you would like your commission completed by a certain date, please let me know right away so I can determine if I’ll reasonably be able to meet your deadline, and if so, plan my schedule to make sure I have your piece done in time.PAYMENT: Payment will be accepted via Paypal, Ko-Fi or Venmo before beginning any work. If needed, I am always willing to work with you to establish a payment plan! Tips are always appreciated but not required.

STANDARD PROCESS: After an initial discussion about what you would like done, I will work on a rough sketch to lay out the composition and posing of character(s). You'll have the opportunity to review the sketch and let me know your thoughts. I may have several options for you to choose from, and we can work together to refine ideas until you’re satisfied. Once the sketch is approved, I will move on to linework. Once this is complete, I'll show you the piece to review again and make edits if necessary. When the work approved, I will move on to flat colors. Again, you'll have a chance to review and make changes before I start working on shading and lighting (if applicable). Once the piece is complete, and everything is approved, I will send you the final piece to look over one last time. Once complete, I will send you the finished file, either through social media or email to preserve image quality. I usually will post your piece to social media (and link your accounts if applicable) shortly after completion, but I will check for your permission before doing so.

FILE FORMATTING: If you would like me to send any specific file formats of the final piece, please let me know right away before work begins! Some file types may not be available due to my software limitations, and I may not be able to convert files gracefully to other formats after major work has been completed. If possible, I will try to make the necessary adjustments to my program to ensure the final piece can meet your needs. By default, finished pieces are provided in a .png or .jpg format, and size will vary.
